Place one teaspoon of each herb below in a small jar. By increasing each herb by equal amounts, you can make a larger batch.
- Holy basil (Tulsi)
- Oregano
- Lemon balm
- Parsley
- Fennel
- Catnip
Use one heaping teaspoon per 6-8 ounces of near-boiling water (right before boiling). Steep for 5-10 minutes and sip. You can add raw honey for sweetness. Some say honey bothers their bladder, which might have something to do with store-bought honey containing corn syrup. Make sure the honey you use says it’s raw or organic.
I like to make a pot of this tea and warm it up as needed. Using the microwave is fine. Just don't overheat it, or you'll lose some medicinal qualities. You might place your pot on a tea warmer instead.
You can drink up to 4 cups daily for 3 days in a row, while drinking plenty of water to help flush your kidneys and bladder.
